My name is Graham Bachelder, and I'm a UI/UX Designer from the Golden State.
My undergraduate studies in Studio Art and Economics quickly grew into a love for connecting data and design, and I've been engrossed ever since! Whether my design work involved event posters, social media marketing, museum curation, or even in-flight entertainment, I've had the incredible opportunity to engage with numerous projects from conceptualization through implementation - and sometimes even beyond. User testing, data analytics, and process development have all sparked new life into previous work, and I can't wait to see what the future holds!
Through a year-long study abroad and homestay program, I was afforded a life-changing view of Japan. I'm also an avid gamer, impeccable baker, a lover of horror movies, and a bit of a technophile - you can often find me screaming and shouting at a wall with a VR helmet on, or chowing down on something I just pulled out of the oven. I bring a lot to the table (literally), and I'm always excited to hear everyone's stories while sharing a few of my own!
Following my professional roots in print and publication design, I've branched into social media marketing, branding, digital advertising, and (currently) UI & UX design. My work in these fields has spanned industries from education and retail to entertainment and aviation. I've also had the amazing opportunity to work with some pretty incredible brands, including BuzzFeed, Conde Nast, JetBlue, and Hainan Airlines!
My education in fine arts exposed me to drawing, ceramics, painting, and even museum curation - but it was defined by an unrivaled love of printmaking. I've been thrilled to explore the medium as much as possible through passion projects at OTIS College of Art and Design and a volunteer position at the Irvine Fine Arts Center. I'm also an avid baker and I'm always willing to share my favorite recipes!
